New [Rom 2.2] Official XT502 with 2.3 UI

This is Froyo - 2.2 Rom
- GREEN/RED BUTTON WAKEUP
- rooted version
- it has good battery life (2.6.32.9)
- english language
- clock speed processor @600mhz
- otherwise quite official (motorola) rom (which is a good point)

I have motorola quench xt502 and upgraded it to New [Rom 2.2] Official XT502 with 2.3 UI(.nb0 format) using SUT LR and now i am not able to upgrade or degrade the it to 2.1 or 2.3 respectively; if i do so i loose the imei no and thus no network.
Please guide and help me to upgrade it to 2.3 with imei no and network.

I had tried updating to Cyanogenmod 2.2 ROM using ROMManager. The ROMManager had downloaded ClockworkMod Recovery Image and my current image version is 2.5.1.3. Due to battery life issue, I reverted back to stock ROM using ROMManager Backup, but the Recovery Image remains the same (ClockworkMod 2.5.1.3). Now, when I try to upgrade to this "Official XT502 with 2.3 UI" using SUT, my phone reboots into the recovery image, but then, does nothing.
What should I do? How should I do? Please help.

I have a Motorola XT502. I upgraded/updated to Cyanogenmod Froyo ROM using ROMManager. Before the upgrade/update, ROMManager downloaded ClockworkMod Recovery Image and installed the image (Current version is 2.5.1.3). I found the battery life to be pathetic (I'm being gentle here) - it went down from fully charged to around 24% in about 6 hours of idling (I went to sleep after completing the charging). I reverted back to the stock ROM from the backup (using ROMManager), but the Recovery Image continues to be the same - ClockworkMod 2.5.1.3.
Now, I found what I think would be the best update/upgrade to Froyo - "Official XT502 with 2.3 UI" from [URL="http://www.androidtalk.info/2011/02/new-rom-22-official-xt502-with-23-ui.html"]here[/URL] or [URL="http://boston-mania.blogspot.com/2011/02/rom-22-official-xt502-with-23-ui.html"]here[/URL]. I downloaded the ROM. It is in a zip file containing a .nb0 image. It advises the use of SUT to install upgrade/update. But, when I try to do it, the mobile reboots into the ClockworkMod Recovery, but then, does nothing.
I want to install the original (stock) recovery image, but cannot find it.
Can any one help me to get the stock recovery back on my XT502? Thanks in advance.

Dev, maybe this comment is coming a little late but did you put your device in download mode before flashing the .nbo? To access download mode, you have to first switch off the device and then enter that mode using this sequence: Red end call button + volume up + power
Then you must open SUT LR and it will have detected your phone.
